Dynamic refresh - If selected, the 3D view will be updated in real time while you make your adjustments. If not selected, the 3D view will be updated at the end of a manipulation.
4 quadrants - If selected, the 2D view in the workspace will be divided into four quadrants, with the quadrants on the top left and bottom right showing one dataset and the remaining quadrants showing another dataset. This arrangement can help you align features within the visible datasets, as shown in the following screen capture, and is most often used for manually registering datasets.

Note The topmost dataset in the Data Properties and Settings panel will be visible in the quadrants on the top right and bottom left. To switch the positions of the datasets, you will need to re-order the datasets in the Data Properties and Settings panel.
